This sketchbook has an odd history. I was supposed to go to Chicago for a Wizard World show the week after the San Diego convention. I had given out all of my books at that show & wouldn't have any books to get sketches in at Wizard World. I couldn't find any sketchbooks in San Antonio when we went there to ship out the art for the convention. Finally Zane Zelinsky stepped in & helped me out. Zane is a Chicago resident & all around good guy. He picked up a sketchbook for me & brought it to the show. Mike Grell is a buddy & was a guest at the show, so I asked him to start the book out with a great piece, which he did. His angel drawing must have triggered something with the other artists, because several people did angel type characters. After Gene Ha said "it looks like you have a theme going here" I decided that he was right & now I am just getting people to draw angels in the rest of the book.
